Nathaniel W. Brown and Elijah Colton account book, 1793-1844.

Between 1793 and 1805, Nathaniel Brown used this volume to record transactions aboard the Brig Boone. The volume was taken over in 1810 by Elijah Colton of Chatham, Connecticut. Colton was a tailor and a farmer. He recorded making gowns, trousers. A more unusual entry is for a ridenhood.
